Members of Bassetlaw Hospital Sports and Social Club recently held a sponsored fishing match at Lodge Farm in Scrooby.

The match, on 1st September, was a great success and all proceeds rasied at the sponsored match was donated to Bassetlaw Hospital.

In total the group raised £380 for the hopsice, which provides specialist care for patients who have been diagnosed with cancer or a progressive long term condition.

Ian Hall, Bassetlaw Hospice’s charity administrator, said: “ We are very grateful to the group for their generous donation to help support the work of the charity within the local community.”
