Retford: Supermarket is taking away the trolley locks
This will remove the need to insert a £1 coin or token to release a trolley from its bay.
Simon Nunwick, store general manager for Morrisons in Retford said: “Our nation is getting busier and we have less free time than previous generations.

“Customers in Retford have told us that they want a quicker shop.”
“The removal of trolley locks is just one of the improvements we are making to make for a faster and easier shopping trip.”
Morrisons say 150,000 locks will be removed from stores across the country this July.
The move will be part of a significant investment programme of changes being made to make shopping trips easier for customers.”
