Reunion after 30 years for hairdressers

Former employees of Oldrids Hair Salon/Glenby International enjoyed a reunion event last month until the early hours of the morning.

The event was held at the White Hart Hotel, in Boston, with about 20 people attending.

Julie Jackson, of Creative Hair By Julie, based in Stratford Upon Avon, organised the event, as a chance to catch up after about 30 years.

“It is people getting together that they haven’t seen for a fair while”, said Julie ahead of the event.

Most Popular

Everyone enjoyed the reunion, especially the great food. Julie said: “It was almost like we had never been away. Nobody has aged.”

“We found out each of us had been through some life changing experiences, and many of us are still hairdressing which is great” said Julie.

Former employee Aston owns Pelo Hair, and Gail owns Cut Above Hairdressers, both in Wormgate.

Another employee Jayne Rush owns Jayne Rush Hair and Beauty, with salons in Kirton and Boston.
