Review of Skegness Liberal Social Club licence

A number of conditions have been imposed on Skegness Liberal Social Club following a review of its premises licence.

The review was made by East Lindsey District Council earlier this month.

Grounds of the application relate to alleged breaches of Prevention of Crime and Disorder and Public Safety and Protection of Children From Harm licensing objectives. The conditions are:

* A guest book must be provided in which the name and address of any person visiting the club as a guest shall be entered.

* When gambling takes place there shall be a member of the committee supervising to ensure no children participate.

* The front door is to remain unlocked when members of the public are present.

* The club undertakes an independent financial audit within the next three months. In addition arrangements should be made for giving members information about the finances.
