Robbers threaten staff in raid on general store

Police are appealing for help after shop workers were threatened during a robbery at a shop in Sturton-by-Stow.

The robbery took place on Wednesday, November 16 at about 8.50pm at Sturton General Stores, in TillBridge Road, Sturton-by-Stow.

Three men entered the store and threatened two members of staff, demanding they hand over cash from the till. The offenders then ran away from the shop with a quantity of cash. No one was injured during the incident.

Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or any vehicles being parked or driven suspiciously in the area between 8:40pm and 9:15pm.

Anyone with any information should call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 395 of 16 November, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they want to remain anonymous.
