Robin Hood Line set for cleaner trains and station £13m 'deep clean' project

The investment is providing new cleaning teams to carry out ‘deep cleaning’ at stations across the line, using heavy duty cleaning equipment to jet wash platforms and pathways.

The staff will help existing station teams to tidy larger waiting rooms, ticket offices and station concourses and booking halls.

Andrew Conroy, acting customer experience director, said: “We know how important it is to passengers that our trains and stations are clean and tidy. That is why we are investing to make sure they are cleaned even more frequently.”
