The Rolling Scones is part of the Lincolnshire North Federation of WI’s.

The group donated £150 from their ‘Posh Picnic’ event which was held at Westgate House in Louth in September last year, in celebration of the WI’s Centenary.

Nickie Dixon, from the Rolling Scones, told the Leader: “We agreed to donate and support the Thirteen Plus Project as an extremely well-needed and local charity, who are in need of help fund raising and volunteers to run this.

Nickie added: “I have now volunteered myself to help Brenda and the other volunteers to keep this going.”

The Rolling Scones hold their meetings at the ConocoPhillips Room (above Louth Library) on the third Friday of each month at 7.30pm.

Female guests are welcome at all of the meetings, at the cost of just £5 per person.

As guests, this is limited to three visits per year, or you can sign up for an annual membership of £37.50. Full membership includes a varied programme and additional social events through the year.
