Rother Valley: Kevin Barron re-selected to be Labour candidate for the 2015 General Election

Kevin Barron has been re-selected by the Rother Valley Constituency Labour Party (CLP) as their candidate for 2015 General Election.

Kevin Barron has been re-selected as the Labour candidate for Rother Valley

Mr Barron, who was awarded a knighthood in the New Year’s Honours will again contest the Rother Valley seat he has held since 1983.

“Kevin received overwhelming support from all sections of the Labour Party,” said Alan Goy, Rother Valley CLP secretary.

“We know Kevin will fight hard to retain the seat he has represented so well for over 30 years, a fact not lost on the leader of the party, Ed Miliband, who recommended him to receive a knighthood.”
