Ayesha, 22, is taking on the challenge to raise money for Action for Children’s Disability Lincolnshire service, where she has been employed as a support worker for over three years.

Based at South Park in Lincoln, the service helps disabled children and young people from across the county access community, social and leisure activities.

“People keep telling me I’m mad as I’m terrified of heights. I’ve never even been up in a plane before, let alone jump out of one at 10,000 feet,” said Ayesha.

“But I’m determined to show no fear and raise as much money as I can for the families Action for Children supports at Disability Lincolnshire. Please donate if you can.”

Since October, the plucky charity worker has been hard at work fundraising and has already collected more than £1,770 for the jump, over an airfield at Brigg, by hosting coffee mornings, quiz nights and even a toy pig racing event.

Leila Barron, children’s services manager at Action for Children, said: “We’re all very proud of our daredevil Ayesha and wish her the very best of luck.

“The funds she’s raising will help us continue to meet the complex needs of the children and young people we work with in Lincolnshire.”
