Online guides promote a network of six circular horse rides using the extensive rights of way network and County lanes in and around the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The rides have been selected to take advantage of the outstanding scenery and history of the area.

The area covered includes both parts of East and West Lindsey and North East Lincolnshire.

The bespoke guide maps have been created by local British Horse Society member John Presgrave who has spent the last 12 months developing them. The circular trails ranging from 7 to 19 miles, cover most abilities and maximise off road use.

All the rides have been test ridden by local horse riders and endurance riding groups.

The project has come to fruition thanks to the assistance from Lincolnshire County Council Countryside Services, North East Lincolnshire Council, the British Horse Society (BHS) and a host of willing volunteers.

Specific information and the individual guides and maps are available as downloadable PDFs from Lincolnshire County Council website via: www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/countryside.
