Sam's Tractor Run to hold charity concert in Louth
Concert will raise fund to support local causes
The organisers of a popular charity tractor run are hosting a fundraising concert in Louth.
On Saturday, November 7, Sam's Tractor Run is hosting a concert with indie, rock, pop, punk band Klout at Louth Town Hall to support local causes.
Based around Louth, the band have been delighting local audiences for almost 20 years. Expect great renditions of popular songs from the likes of Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, Green Day, Sam Fender, The Killers, etc.
Doors and bars open at 7pm and the concert starts at 8pm.
Around 2012/2013 vintage tractor enthusiast Sam Brown decided that he wanted to organise a charity tractor run.
Living on his family farm, which also had an ice cream parlour/cafe, he had the perfect venue for this to take place, so Sam, with the help of close friend and fellow vintage tractor enthusiast Rob Willson and a small group of friends and family, endeavoured to bring this idea to reality.
The spectacle became Farmer Brown’s Tractor Run, taking it's name from the location where it would be held.
Not knowing then that it would turn into an annual event raising thousands of pounds over the course of the next 12 years, attracting ever-increasing numbers of tractors, vintage and modern, the team behind it had to grow and in came Andy, Neil, Joe, Pete and Flo just to name a few.
After 12 years of running this highly successful event Sam decided in 2025 it was time to change and take the next steps.
He said: “Up to this point we had chosen a charity to support for that year and all the money raised went directly to that charity (sometimes two).”
Sam decided they should become a registered charity to support many more charities and organisations across Lincolnshire and to enable other types of fund-raising events to take place. Joined again by Rob, Joe, Pete, Flo, Andy and Neil, Sam’s Tractor Run CIO was born and in April 2026 officially became a registered charity.
Sam’s Tractor Run CIO aims to deliver fundraising events throughout the year to help many good causes across Lincolnshire.
Sam said: “We started as just a charity tractor run but have now become so much more. We couldn't have done this though without the continued support from members of the public, so we thank you very much for that.
“This is a new event for ourselves and the largest fundraising event we have organised away from our annual Tractor Run.
“October in recent years has been a busy month getting ready for our Annual Charity Tractor Run, but this year, following our decision to move our Tractor Run to June, has meant that October has been a very different month here for us. But we have decided to bring a new charity event - the charity concert.
“If we receive a fraction of the support for our concert that we have had for our traxctor run, we will have a successful event.”
General admission tickets are £20, balcony ticket (seated) £25.
Tickets are available from the tractor run team or from Louth Town Hall, H+J Arts and Crafts, Mercer Row, and Discovery Shack, Louth Market.
