Seaside fun for Louth Wildlife Watch Group

The Louth Wildlife Watch Group had an enjoyable meeting at the beach recently.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, the wildlife watch group walked out across the salt marsh to make plaster casts of the roe deer and bird tracks that had been left in the firm sand.

While the plaster was drying, they collected shells and pebbles on the beach and produced some very good ‘beach art’ as well.

The Louth group are now set to be returning to Red Hill for their next meeting.

This will be taking place on Sunday, August 21, at 2pm.

They will be working alongside the Alford Watch Group, and they will be collecting seeds.

Also, work will be done through their senses, experiencing what it is like to be out in a meadow.

Families could even bring a picnic to complete the afternoon.

All children who attend on the day, must please be accompanied by an adult.
