Shakespeare and veg!

IT’S certainly not boring being a pupil at Wales High School.

The school was recently visited by The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) who treated students to two performances on Hamlet.

The Young People’s Shakespeare production came to the school as part of an autumn tour of schools and theatre venues across England.

It is a new way of reaching audiences who many not normally have access to the RSC’s work.

Wales High was one of three schools it visited during its time in Rotherham.

The 70 minute version of the play was performed at the school using Shakespeare’s original text.

The RSC also performed twice at Magna Science Adventure Centre.
