Fire crews from Mansfield and Bolsover attended the scene at about 11.30am today (Thursday 11th December) after a Toyota Yaris crashed into a Vauxhall Vectra.
The drivers, a male and a female, are thought to be badly injured.

It is understood that fire crews had to cut one of the drivers from their car before they were taken to hospital.
Carter Lane has since re-opened.
