Shoppers support Sellwood Group

Sellwood Gardens Memory Support Group is the latest beneficiary of the Lincolnshire Co-op Community Champions scheme.

They received £903.55 to help them continue supporting people with mild to sever dementia and their carers. This self-supporting voluntary group formed last April after NHS funding for the existing group was withdrawn.

Meetings are held every Thursday, between 1.30pm and 4pm, at the Sellwood Gardens Community Room in Boston Road, where bingo, quizzes, community singing, outings and other stimulating activities are all on offer.
