Six month driving ban

A WHITWELL mother of five has been ordered off the road after being convicted of three motoring offences.

Dawn Campbell, 32, of Parkway, was stopped in Hodthorpe on 31st October.

She failed to provide driving documents within seven days. Campbell had an expired provisional driving licence and had already received six penalty points.

She was due to stand trial on 8th March for offences of driving without insurance and a full licence and failing to provide insurance and MOT certificates.

But she did not attend the hearing and was convicted in her absence and she was brought before the court in police custody. The justices imposed a six-month driving ban and fines totalling £180, with £85 costs.
