Carnival queen Ellie Mitchell, 18, Princess Kimberley Ellis, 11, and Rosebud Alycia Dickinson, nine, were all chosen to represent the town at an event at the Suncastle on Saturday.
The trio can look forward to a year of attending special events including shop openings, special birthday parties and more.
Carnival Queen Liaison Pat Brown said the evening was ‘thoroughly enjoyed’ and that ‘quite a lot of girls’ entered this year’s contest.
The final three, plus three runners-up, were selected by a panel of five judges which includedSkegness Mayor Coun Dick Edginton and five representatives from this year’s sponsors the Grosvenor Hotel, The Sea View Public House, Mr Fips’ Wonder Circus, Litebites Cafe and the Suncastle.
The girls’ first major event will be the Carnival Parade on August 14, where they will again be joined by the other contestants.
Organisers are looking for volunteers to help out during the year and will also be looking for sponsors for next year.
