Sleaford and District Lionesses rainy golf day raises funds
Rain did nothing to dampen enthusiasm of Sleaford and District Lionesses and teams who took part in their fourth Charity Golf Day on Friday May 19.

The day raised a record £4,000 for the British Heart Foundation and other local charities as the Lionesses celebrate 40 years in the UK.
The main competition was won by a team of Gerry Taylor, Andy Ballantyne, Richard Sadler and Lee Marshall. Tony Gordon is pictured teeing off watched by the Lionesses.

The Golf Day is to become a bi-annual event with the next one in 2019.
The Lionesses will hold an anniversary tea party at the Solo Club, Sleaford on Saturday June 3 starting at 2pm to thank all groups and people who have helped them or they have supported over the last few years.
