SLIDESHOW: Epworth’s Old Rectory hosts crafty Christmas event

The historic house played host to a seasonal craft fair on Saturday, which included beautiful handmade gifts for all the family. There was also a tombola, cake stall, raffle, refreshments and festive musical entertainment.

Among the stalls was Revolution Chocolate, a company which has been attending this event for the past three years.

Spokesman Andrea Borrowdale said: “We always enjoy visiting Epworth and seeing the fantastic volunteers at the rectory.

“The fair was very well supported and two of my mini chocolate hampers were purchased to send to Northumberland and Australia!

“The rectory is certainly a big jewel in Epworth’s crown and we will be back in 2016.”
