SLIDESHOW: Spooktacular Halloween festival

Hundreds of people flocked to Gainsborough market for its first ever Halloween festival on Saturday.

The ghastly goings-on included fancy dress and pumpkin carving competitions as well as Halloween themed stalls, food and drink and street entertainers.

The event was brought to a spectacular close with a fireworks display on the riverside.
