Slimmers give to Aurora
CHARITABLE slimmers dug deep into their pockets and purses to raise much-needed cash for Aurora.
Members of the Slimming World class at Barnby Memorial Hall in Blyth, near Worksop, raised £45 between them through a collection of loose change.
The cheque was handed over at one of their weekly meetings.
The group meets every Tuesday from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Aurora Wellbeing is raising funds in Bassetlaw to help redevelop Worksop’s old library into the Aurora Wellbeing Centre.
Once complete, cancer patients and their carers will be able to benefit from a range of therapies, treatments and experiences at the revamped art deco building.
