It was also given an outstanding rating the last time it was inspected by Ofsted, in 2009.

This is the sixth time Mon Ami nurseries have been rated outstanding by Ofsted. Its three nurseries at Boston, Swineshead and Alford currently hold “outstanding” ratings. The fourth, which opened in Wragby last year, has yet to be inspected.

The Ofsted report highlights several areas of strength at Mon Ami in Alford, including strong and effective management, well qualified staff, creative and inspiring teaching, excellent progress in children’s learning and development and high quality of teaching.

The report also notes that children are polite, well behaved, motivated and eager to explore. They develop strong attachments with the “caring and attentive” staff.

Samantha Britton, who owns Mon Ami with her husband Jarrod, said: “As well as thanking and paying tribute to our talented and dedicated staff, we would also like to thank our parents for taking the time to talk to the Ofsted inspector.”
