Society's boost for debt advice service
A debt advice service run by Burgh Baptist Church has received a £500 cash boost, courtesy of the Skegness branch of a building society.
The Nottingham Building Society, in Lumley Road, has donated the sum through its Grants for Good scheme – an initiative which has been running since 2010.
The money will go towards buying a scanner at to the Causeway church to make all information electronic, and for the training of debt advisers.
