Somecotes Academy pupils set to see their work published

Young writers from Somercotes Academy will see their work in print after entering The Poetry Trials, an annual competition which encourages students to use their creativity.

The lower school students submitted entries for the Young Writers’ competition which is now in its 25th year. A number of students were recognised for their achievements and will see their work published in The Poetry Trials: The Midlands at the end of June.
