Soot build-up starts fire in chimney in Alford
Firefighters dealt with a chimney fire in Alford yesterday.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue was called to the property in the Market Place around 3.30pm.
A crew from Alford used chimney gear to extinguish the fire.
A spokesman tweeted it was caused by build-up of soot.
