The decision has been taken in light of ongoing restrictions relating to the coronavirus outbreak.

A spokesman for the not-for-profit organisation said: “We have consulted with East Lindsey District Council and Alford Manor House and feel that the only sensible course of action is to cancel.”

The organisation said it was hopeful, however, its Christmas craft markets could be held this year and that it would be reviewing the situation at the beginning of September.

It also added its craft centre would re-open on the Friday, July 3, followed by its shop on the Tuesday, July 7, both with safety measures in place, and that its growing online shop was proving ‘very popular’.
