Supper events and Willingham Winners

Harvest supper - It was a full house in the parish hall for the annual harvest supper and produce auction.

The catering team of Virginia Edmondson and Glynis Pettersen provided a delicious menu and everyone took along their own choice of drinks.

There had been lots of produce donated for the auction sale, which was conducted by Mike Perkins, who gave his services and, in his usual humorous way, encouraged brisk bidding.

A total of £436 was raised for hall funds and thanks are extended to Mike, the cooks and all who contributed to and supported the event.

The next event planned is a fish and chip quiz night on Friday, November 25, at 7pm.

Willingham winners - The new session of the Willingham Winners Club has now been launched and anyone who would like to join should contact Chris Nutten.

It costs £12 to become a member for a full year, or part payment if joining mid season, with all proceeds going towards maintenance of the parish hall.
