South Yorks: Woman in hospital after three-car accident on the M18
A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash on the M18 on Thursday evening (13th Fenruary).
The incident occurred on the southbound carriageway between junctions one and two around 6.40pm.
Three cars were involved and fire crews from Maltby, Aston and Rotherham, attended the scene after reports that a woman was trapped in her car.
Fire crews cut the woman free and she was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
No other injuries were reported.
