South Yorkshire: Children happy to see snooker ace Mark Selby at Bluebell Wood Hospice

Snooker star Mark Selby put smiles on the faces of youngsters at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice - when he took a break from the World Championships at The Crucible Theatre in Sheffield to pay a visit.

He happily signed autographs and chatted to children and staff.

Mark said: “It was a privilege to come to Bluebell Wood and meet the children and staff who all do such a fantastic job.”

Julie Hampson, corporate fundraiser at the hospice said: “We were very excited that Mark came to visit and the children were very pleased to meet him and we really appreciate it.”
