South Yorkshire: Riders invited to be part of Team Red Cross at a bargain price

Places are like gold dust, but the British Red Cross has guaranteed places on offer to Yorkshire cyclists on next year’s Ride 100 at a bargain price.

Taking place on 2nd August, 2015, the Ride London-Surrey 100 is a hugely popular ride that attracts cyclists from all over the world.

Entries for next year opened on the 18th August and places are already filling up.

But the Red Cross are offering a hugely discounted deal for Yorkshire cyclists, who can enter now for just £10.

Max Newton, senior community fund-raiser for the Red Cross in Yorkshire said: “All money raised will go enable the Red Cross to help people whose lives have been devastated by crises and disasters, such as famine or war.”

There is a fund-raising target of £399. By joining Team Red Cross you will not only receive full fund-raising and training support, but we’ll also put you in touch with other riders taking part, send you a Team Red Cross t-shirt and set you up with your own fund-raising page.”

“Raise over £700 and you will receive a unique, limited-edition Team Red Cross cycling jersey.”
