Sparky Tammie hopes to see her name in lights
Tammie Richards, 41, has helped husband, Mark, run the family business M R Joinery and Electrical of Metheringham, for more than four years while holding down her own job and raising a family.
More than a year ago Tammie took a massive risk and ditched her full-time job to retrain as a domestic electrician.

Hide AdNow she faces an expert panel of judges along with 10 other regional finalists tomorrow (Thursday) in the national final at Wembley Stadium, organised by Screwfix, to win a £32,000 Toyota pick-up or van and the coveted title of Britain’s Top Tradesperson.
Tammie prides herself in being the only female electrician in the area.
She adds: “I absolutely love my job and the variety it brings each and every day.
“I love to meet new people and help them in times of need.
“To win Britain’s Top Tradesperson would mean the world to me.”
