Nottinghamshire Police are looking to recruit enthusiastic, committed and experienced individuals to help deliver a long-term and first class service in tackling rural and wildlife crime across the county.

The force are specifically looking to recruit rural special constables in Harworth, Rampton and Retford.

Rural special constables provide a visible presence in rural communities, working with farmers, councillors, business owners and community group members.

Applicants must be age 18 and over. There is no upper age limit but standard fitness test, eye sight requirement and medical examinations will apply.

Rural special constables receive the same training and input as regular specials, plus a two day long specialist workshop delivering widlife knowledge and skills.
