Staff help spread festive cheer

Staff from Oldrid's department store, in Boston, paid a special visit to the children's ward at the town's Pilgrim Hospital.

Colleagues went to the ward to donate gifts for the children.

Oldrid’s gave the ward a selection of toys, including Lego, Duplo, Play-doh and a gift wrapping kit.

Marshall, a leading character from TV series Paw Patrol, also made an appearance on the ward – much to the children’s delight.

He toured the ward and stopped to take pictures with children and staff, making everyone’s day.

Madeleine Roux-Thompson, store manager at Oldrid’s, said: “It’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to give to such a worthy cause and spread a bit of Christmas spirit while we do so.”
