Step back in time on 1950s hospital ward
An exhibition is set to mark 100 years of John Coupland Hospital in Gainsborough.
Take a walk around a reconstruction of an early 1950s hospital ward and discover the history of this unique local hospital, and the evolution of the National Health Service.
Collect your prescription from the period theme chemist. Or go for a dip in Lea Road Baths, or a game of tennis or cricket. Visit Gainsborough Heritage Centre, The Old Post Office, North Street and runs Sunday 10th August - 27th October. Admission £3 (£1.50 members).
