Street dancers showcase their skills at theatre
Some 13 dance crews from the county took to the stage in front of a packed house at Skegness’ Embassy Theatre last weekend for Dance Factor 2016.
The event marked the culmination of this year’s Dance Factor project, a scheme run by community group InspireDance, which gives young people the chance to take part in street dance sessions led by a professional dance artist.

They performed a routine inspired by a soldier’s journey and were praised by judges for their ‘great lyrical moments with contrasting beat drops’.
April Hatcher, dance teacher to the girls, congratulated Sarah and Codie on a ‘great job’ last weekend.
She said: “The performance went really well.
“It can be scary going on to a large stage and performing when there is just two of you but they did it. I am really proud of them.”
