Students ready for world of work after impressing at South Holland Post 16 Centre, Spalding
BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) students at the centre excelled, with 66 per cent achieving Distinction* or Distinction grades, the equivalent of three A* or A grades at A-level.
Overall, 74 per cent gained Distinctions or better, with the BTEC grading system ranging from a Pass to Merit, Distinction and Distinction *, the equivalent of A* to C grades at A-level.

Hide AdHead of academy Will Scott said: “I am delighted with the successes seen by our Year 13 students and there have been some impressive individual grades with many students achieving the highest grades of Distinction*.
“This is recognition of the sustained hard work of students, the guidance of staff and support of parents.
“We wish all students every success as they pursue the next chapter of their lives.”
Meanwhile, Josh Robinson-Green (18), of Spalding, is going to work in welding after collecting A-levels in Sociology (B), Psychology (C) and Law (D).

“The last two years have flown by and I’m really excited for the next step in my life.”
Amanda Mosek, principal at Boston College, said, “I am delighted that we have once again achieved an A‐level pass rate of 100 per cent.
“Our students deserve huge credit for their hard work and effort and it is fantastic to see them all so happy and excited, looking forward to going off to
university or beginning their careers.
