Summer hours for recycling centres

Lighter nights mean longer opening times at Rotherham Council’s household waste recycling centres.

On Monday the four centres run by Rotherham Council started summer opening hours.

The centres at Magilla in North Anston, Car Hill in Greasbrough, Lidget Lane in Bramley and Warren Vale in Rawmarsh are now open from 10am-6.30pm, seven days a week.

Separate containers are provided at all the centres for many different types of waste.

The attendants at each centre can offer assistance in sorting waste into the appropriate containers for recycling.
