Super slimmer opens Saturday group in Rasen

A Market Rasen woman who has turned her life around by losing more than three and half stone in weight is looking to help others succeed.

Annabelle Stemp always struggled with her weight and as a child was referred to a slimming group.

By the age of 19, she was wearing size 20 clothes.

Annabelle said: “I had lots of friends but never had a boyfriend.

“I didn’t really want to go out because I was called the fat one or the ugly one.”

It was when Annabelle moved to Market Rasen that things changed.

“I decided to join the local Slimming World group and I have never looked back,” she said.

“It isn’t a diet, it is a change of lifestyle.

“Now, I can walk into a shop and pick up a size 10 or 12 dress and it is amazing.

“Losing the weight has boosted my confidence as well.”

Annabelle, who celebrates her 25th birthday today (Wednesday), has trained as a Slimming World consultant and opens her own group in Market Rasen this Saturday.

She said: “I want to help people and give them a new lease of life, no matter what their age.”

The group will be held in the Methodist Church schoolroom at 8.30am.
