Support for Vets' Breakfast Club

“The award is to help get them established and give them scope to continue and expand,” said Coun Smith.

The Vets Breakfast Club has recently moved to The White Swan in the town’s Queen Street.

Market Rasen Town Mayor, Coun John Matthews, said: “I had the honour of officially opening the first meeting of the ‘Vets Breakfast Meeting’ last summer, and I am really pleased to see the progress and support that it has attracted.

“Although, not a Vet myself, I grew up in a military family and try to support the meetings whenever I can. I commend Councillor Smith for his very generous support and their organisers for what they have done for a part of our community.”
