On Wednesday, February 15, and Thursday, February 16 watch Winnie The Pooh Kids.

A spokesman for Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre said: “Winnie The Pooh Junior is a delightfully fun musical show about all the well loved characters from the books, including Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and of course Pooh.

“Join them as they journey through the Hundred Acre Wood, overcoming mishaps to find Pooh’s beloved Christopher Robin.”

This is the first production solely for Blackfriars Junior Academy, who are part of Blackfriars Theatre Academy, with a cast of 45 school pupils aged between four and nine performing in the show.

Amanda Rivers, director and principal of Blackfriars Theatre Academy said: “During reherasls, our Saturday mornings have been filled with fun, laughter, onesies, tissue paper, bright colours, jazz hands and of course extremely enthusiastic little theatre people.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure, and I’m delighted to be able to give our younger academy members the opportunity to take the lead.

“They have really risen to the occasion, and are so incredibly excited to be able to take it to the stage.”

Tickets for the show on Wednesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 16 at 2.30pm are priced at £10 for adults and £7 for children.
