Taekwondo day for hospital

On Saturday, July 30, Boston Taekwondo Club will be at Peter Paine Sports Centre, raising money throughout the day for the children’s ward at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.

Events include a sponsored kick-a-thon, name that bear, a tombola and a raffle with prizes.

Entrants for the raffle are in with a chance of winning a bottle of Prosecco, a play towers voucher admitting four, as well as a regal afternoon tea for two at the White Hart Hotel – all winnable for only 50p a ticket.

Organisers want to raise around £1,000 which will buy three sleep apnoea alarms, which detect children’s breathing difficulty in the night.
