Take ownership of medicine

Pharmacies are urging men to take a more active interest in their medicines.

Pharmacist Paul Woodhouse said: “We want men to take control of their medicines and wellbeing. Fewer men than women take advantage of the free advice available from community pharmacy.”

Mr Barron added: “Community pharmacy is ideally placed to offer professional health advice and services to both men and women.”

Services on offer include help to quit smoking, medicine reviews and healthy living advice.”
