Teen gets unpaid work

A WORKSOP teen who failed to comply with the requirements of his community service has been ordered to complete another 20 hours of unpaid work.

Luke Barnett, 19, from Kilton Glade, failed to show up at a supervised session for unpaid work on 9th June 2012 without a reasonable excuse.

Barnett was sentenced to a 12-month community order including the completion of 150 hours unpaid work for a burglary, magistrates heard.

He has completed almost 47 hours of the original order.

Chair of the Bench Alan Fidler said: “It’s down to you to complete this order.”
