Temporary lights plan for A16 in Wyberton this weekend

Highways officials have announced that temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A16 at Wyberton this weekend.

The temporary lights are to be in place at the Quadrant roundabout, south of Boston on Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11.

In addition, signs for a new toucan crossing for pedestrians and cyclists is to be are installed.

The works will happen between 7am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday when delays can be expected for drivers.

However, pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and a spokesman for Quadrant developers, Chestnut Homes, said: “We apologise in advance for any delays or disruption to people’s journeys during this stage of work.”
