Although the girls fell just short of 100 cups, they managed to raise about £200 for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

They presented Geoff Nelson with a fruit basket meant for the 100th customer as he was the last one.

Rebecca Wilkinson, Catherine Crome, Rose Taylor, and Eve Mettam, who were working for their hostess badges, baked cakes which they served with the tea, and made flower decorations.

The winner of the treasure map game was Dannielle Jones, Rebecca Smith got the right date for the toy’s birthday, and Andrea Mettam guessed the number of sweets in the jar contest.

There was also a bric-a-brac stall and tombola.
