Ten years ago ... Beach rangers launch summer programme in Skegness

Throughout the summer holidays the rangers would provide fun and games for children and their families, including cricket and football.

ELDC communications officer James Gilbert said the rangers were aimed at getting people to do things on the beach and having fun together rather than just sitting on the beach.
