Ten years ago ... Co-op staff in banana-based world record attempt
Shop workers at the Lincolnshire Co-op, in Eastwood Road, Boston, were taking part in a world record attempt for the largest number of people eating a banana at the same time.
The initiative, part of Fairtrade Fortnight, would see Lincolnshire Co-operative employees munch their way through bananas across a 24-hour period.
Colleagues at Swineshead Pharmacy, Holland Brothers, and Parkside Pharmacy would also taking part.
