TEN YEARS AGO: Late night Christmas shopping fancy dress competition

Staff at the O2 store, in Lumley Road, Skegness, took first place in the annual late night Christmas shopping fancy dress competition 10 years ago.

The team looked to the children’s TV programme Scooby Doo for inspiration.

They received a trophy, donatedby Lowndes Toy Shop, and pantomime tickets for the Embassy Theatre’s show Jack and the Beanstalk.

Second place went to Lowndes Toy Shop, in Lumley Road, where staff paid tribute to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with their costumes.

Third place went to staff at Camille’s.
