TEN YEARS AGO: NFU servers up breakfast to Skegness children
The National Farmers’ Union (NFU) visited Skegness Infants School 10 years ago to treat youngsters to breakfast.
Members served us sausage, bacon, and eggs to children from The Jolly Munchers Breakfast Club as part of National Farmhouse Breakfast Week.
Afterwards, county NFU vice-chairman David Armstrong spoke to the whole school about the benefits of having a healthy meal to start the day and talked about how food reaches supermarket shelves.
