Ten years ago ... Spilsby tots mark Paddington Bear’s birthday with charity event
A teddy bear’s picnic was enjoyed by children at Spilsby Totschool in honour of Paddington Bear’s birthday 10 years ago.
The event was held at the Franklin Hall to raise funds for a charity supporting sick and vulnerable babies.
As part of the fundraiser, staff created a large Paddington to be covered with coins. Once it was filled, the money would be counted and sent to the charity.
